As a Andriod Developer, we expect:

  • Being flexible and willing to work from home for about 3-4 weeks
  • Translating designs and wireframes into high-quality code
  • Designing, building and maintaining high-performance, reliable and reusable Java code
  • Ensuring the best possible performance, quality and responsiveness of the application
  • Identifying and correcting bottlenecks and fix bugs

What we're Looking for

  • 3 to 5 years of prior experience in Application development
  • A Minimum of 2+ years of experience in Android application development
  • Thorough proficiency in Java
  • Ensuring the best possible performance, quality and responsiveness of the application
  • Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services
  • Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices
  • Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
  • Familiarity with the use of sensors, such as gyroscopes and accelerometers
  • Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
  • Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
  • Understanding of Google’s Android design principles and interface guidelines
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
